Craftmanship

Fundamentally this project was conceived to re-establish connection between the clothes we wear and the skill required to make them.  I started to film my work as a means of documenting my design processes, but the footage I captured became a medium that could be used to clearly equate making with the human hand. Alongside my final outcomes my films are intended to demonstrate the time and skill required to make a garment, to help raise questions on cost, time, quality and value.
